How to add a custom code to the share section under the post?

Hi,

You could edit the post template file. Either loop-single or loop-single-1, depending on the post template you are using. There you can see the post structure and insert the custom code below the post bottom sharing. Like in this example

Hi,

The theme post sharing is found in this file
http://prntscr.com/g3vwm9
There is a top sharing section and a bottom sharing in the same file. Make the modifications you want there.

Thanks

Thank you, that’s what I was looking for, but my custom button doesn’t appear anyway (even if I just copy-paste existing row of code (facebook for example)) 🙁

Hi,

That depends on the implementation required for the social button you are trying to insert. If you want to add a different social please check for solutions online. Like this for example for Twitter
http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-add-the-official-twitter-follow-button-in-wordpress/
It could be easier to maybe install a plugin that has the option to display more social icons, if you need this.

Thanks

Sorry for annoying, but I still can’t do it.
I want to replace twitter buttons with this:

<!– Put this script tag to the <head> of your page –>
<script type=”text/javascript” src=”https://vk.com/js/api/share.js?95″ charset=”windows-1251″></script>

<!– Put this script tag to the place, where the Share button will be –>
<script type=”text/javascript”><!–
document.write(VK.Share.button(false,{type: “round”, text: “Репост”}));
–></script>

<!– Put this script tag to the <head> of your page –>
<script type=”text/javascript” src=”//vk.com/js/api/openapi.js?146″></script>

<script type=”text/javascript”>
VK.init({apiId: 2633041, onlyWidgets: true});
</script>

<!– Put this div tag to the place, where the Like block will be –>
<div id=”vk_like”></div>
<script type=”text/javascript”>
VK.Widgets.Like(“vk_like”, {type: “mini”});
</script>

Hi,

The code that must be entered in the head, enter it here
https://www.screencast.com/t/xsDmUYs7
The share button you have to place in the file mentioned before
https://www.screencast.com/t/Rx3LbgMHJ
Either replace the social you want or place it along the default ones.
It should be displayed like this
https://www.screencast.com/t/d1vIap80k
You could further style it to display better, as you like. Follow the instructions provided with the code and it should work properly.

Thanks
