Just wanted to know if there is a Newsletter Opt-in Pop up form with ion-Mag’s theme or would we have to download a third party plugin?

Hi,
The theme does not have such an element, you will have to use a plugin. There are many free plugins that you could try. Check online recommendations, such as this one
