Blank screen when trying to use TD Composer

Hi there,

I have the exact same issue as in this post: https://www.wpion.com/members/topic/tagdiv-composer-not-working-2/

I have followed all the steps on this page (https://www.wpion.com/members/system-status/) with ‘System Status’ now showing the relevant elements as green and have also disabled all of my plug-ins, but I am still getting a blank page when I open tagDiv Composer, sometimes with a message that says “This page wasn’t built with TagDiv”. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the theme, with no success.

Could you please let me know what else I should do to make this work?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Please try to use the composer on a new page and see if it works as intended. If the page you are trying to edit has content that was not added with the composer, it may display such messages.

Thanks

Hi there,

Thanks for getting back to me. I just tried that and unfortunately that doesn’t seem to help. Anything else you would recommend?

Cheers.

I just noticed one thing on the System Status tab: the ‘alert’ symbol at “Home URL – Site URL” row is yellow. It also states the following:

“Home URL != Site URL Home URL not equal to Site URL, this may indicate a problem with your WordPress configuration.”

Would this have anything to do with why TD Composer isn’t working and, if so, do you know how I could fix it?

Hi,

That could be the cause. It is referring to the URLs that are entered in the WordPress settings – https://www.screencast.com/t/rPpbLB5NvL9r
Check to see if the same URLs are entered in each field.

Thanks

Hi,

@mansi First please check the theme system status
https://www.wpion.com/members/system-status/
If modifications are needed you could ask your hosting provider to help you make them. After everything is set try again to use the composer. In almost all cases insufficient resources are the cause for this to happen.

Thanks
