2. Featured Video

Featured Video will only work on the post that is marked as Video Format.

To set a Featured Video for your post, just place your Youtube, Vimeo, Dailymotion or Facebook video link in the Featured Video post box.

Video Format is perfect if you have a video and want to publish it at the beginning of your post.

On pages, the theme will automatically generate the video preview. After you update the post, you can see the generated preview image in the Featured Image post box.

NOTE: You should use Featured Video only on:

  • Post Style Default
  • Post Style 1
  • Post Style 2
  • Post Style 9
  • Post Style 10
  • Post Style 11

Facebook Videos

For Facebook videos you will have to use the following video link formats:

  • https://www.facebook.com/{username}/videos/{video-id}/ – user’s video must be public
  • https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v={video-id}

**Here is how you can get a Facebook video’s URL

The theme’s featured video feature also works using Facebook’s 360 videos

In some situations, your audience may experience some inconveniences (like low video quality, video blurry or reduced in size) while viewing your Facebook featured embedded videos on browsers like Firefox or Internet Explorer.

This may occur if your visitor’s operating system is missing the media-related technologies needed to decode and play videos and music properly. For this situation, we recommend advising your website visitors to download and install the missing features appropriate for their operating system version.
